Doctor in Trouble

AdelaideNow... Plane lands in paddock, then flips
"The pilot has done a great job in landing the plane safely," Senior Constable Matthew Jenkins said.

We take our flying medical teams a bit for granted and it sounds like the plane is overdue for maintenance if the front wheel snapped off and further put the two medical staff in danger after the doctor actually managed to land his plane which had engine trouble. There have been too many light plane accidents and we need to look at the reasons. The doctor's ability to keep a cool head and manage is obvious...but for the front wheel to snap on top of that must have been far too much to take. The local community sounds absolutely wonderful given the speed with which they rallied along with the local emergency services. These are people who are on the ball.
