Police save swimmer from crocodiles : "'He was very intoxicated and started basically abusing police for the fact that we were shooting at crocodiles,'' Constable Stanley said."
The story is hilarious but it might well have been tragic. The local man who called the police was quick to act. The police were quick to respond and then dealt with it efficiently so that the man was saved from the crocodiles. So was he pleased? No, not at all. he was too piddled to be grateful. he lectured the police instead about hurting the crocodiles. Oh dear. I am certain police will still persist in their stupidity of trying to save people from crocs...good on them...and may the man's head hurt for a while. maybe they just need to bang a few saucepans around him for a while. The whole scene sounds hilarious though. So bloomin' Australian.
