While we are busy thinking petrol and electricity we don't think about our technology use as such and a smart meter to make us think would really help. What about all the servers which are on all the time? Which screens are the best? What about the lights, lamps and extra bits? Which peripherals use the least energy and then that ever pressing question...how on earth do we recycle all this stuff routinely and safely. This is a fabulous article which really gets you thinking.
