Hello? I'll order a pint plus rescue

Hello? I'll order a pint plus rescue: "Falmouth coastguard launched a joint operation with American rescuers 1100km north-east of Bermuda on Saturday."

The Englishman is noted for his sang-froid. Unbelievable! Just in a spot of bother and need a smidge of help! What a classic in understatement. He was probably trying not to cause a fuss because he probably felt guilty for ruining his yacht by falling over. Poor guy. It is great the Brits and the Americans could bring him to safety. He'll be grounded for a while if his pelvis is fractured. And the yacht? For him, sailing the boat back to England would have been the adventure of a lifetime. As it stands, it's still an adventure with the added knowledge that people care and can be relied upon when your dreams fall apart. I hope he can get himself and his yacht back to England. I feel so sorry for him....but so glad he is safe , was rescued and that human beings are indeed wonderful.
