Biting python gets the chop : "'Because it was such a ferocious attack, they had trouble getting the snake's fangs out of her leg and had to kill the snake and prise the head and fangs from her leg,' he said."
What is it with pythons today? We never hear of them and here are two stories in one day. Are they becoming the in thing in pets? Are they just wandering and on the loose? I am embarrassed if we have pythons here and I am not really even aware of it!! Maybe that should be a question in the citizenship test....I knew about the water pythons up north but now...and yes, I have checked...you get carpet pythons in Brisbane. YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCK!!!! Mind you, we have brown snakes and they are venomous and hard to see! Pythons can curl up in bird nest ferns and I have a beautiful one out the back. Glad we don't have pythons. I guess all that rain is bringing them out.
