Water tanks spark killer mozzie warning

Water tanks spark killer mozzie warning : "Residential water tanks are helping to drought-proof the nation, but experts say if they are not maintained properly they may pose a major health risk."

Indeed . It is something we need to educate the public about. Older Australians would know because some of them would have been brought up in houses running off rainwater. Then we plumbed everything. Certainly we have had fewer mosquitoes but the warmer climate, the water storage and then the changing generations mean we have forgotten or we do not know how to maintain tanks. It doesn't take 5 minutes to get mosquitoes in still water. We all used to burn mosquito zappers as a matter of course...those awful coils. We need some advice.
