Cow with artificial limb gives birth : "It is understood that Theresa is the only cow in Australia fitted with an artificial limb, which is made of timber and fibreglass."
Charmaine Gooding, who designed the artificial limb for the cow is no doubt as pleased as the Heazlewoods that Theresa was allowed to be happy and well and enjoy a cow's life! She is actually a prized breeding animal but it was plain old human compassion which drove the Heazlewoods and Charmaine Gooding to come to her rescue. It is really heart warming news. The Heazlewoods had made a plea for an artificial limb when they discovered Theresa was pregnant.
