Bush to warn Rudd on Iraq

Bush to warn Rudd on Iraq: "George W. Bush will caution Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd against withdrawing Australian troops early from Iraq when they meet in Sydney next week."

Warn? Caution? It makes Mr. Rudd sound like a stupid little boy. He is not. I think it's journalistic licence rather than President Bush. This is what President Bush is quoted as having said:

"He doesn't know me and I don't know him and so I look forward to sharing my views and would ask, if he were to win, that he consider conditions on the ground before making any decisions,"

They don't know each other. They have to meet as President and leader of the opposition and if Mr. Rudd is stupid , he will make a complete fool of himself but I doubt it. He will be able to discuss things and it is John Howard who made us part of the coalition, but we are not happy about that. Mr. Rudd has a difficult task representing his party, his aspirations as our next Prime Minister and then meeting a head of state. It's a big job but it is not helping if he is unfairly portrayed as a twit. Doesn't do us any good, him any good or the country any good.
