UN sets 2015 date for carbon emissions peak.: "Nations must get greenhouse gases to start declining by 2015 to avoid the most destructive effects of climate change, United Nations experts say in a new set of global warming recommendations."
The effects of global warming are more than evident now, so why are we waiting another 8 years to work on the emissions? If someone has all the signs of pending heart attack, don't you work on their nutrition, lifestyle, treatment and exercise plan immediately? Do you let them go on for another 8 years and say we will take action then because it will be critical? I really don't get it. We should be doing something about it yesterday and we should be doing something properly and responsibly. I really do not get it.
