Hicks charges 'do not exist in international law'.

Hicks charges 'do not exist in international law'. :

"The lawyer for alleged Taliban fighter David Hicks says he is heartened by the opinion of international lawyers who claim the charges against his client do not exist in international law."

A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. This is a step in the right direction. While all the other things like double demerit points, strange white substances, beached whales, detainees and all sorts of other things attract our attention, David Hicks must not be forgotten. He has been in Guantanomo Bay for how long? He is charged with what? He will get what kind of a trial when?? I'll hand it to the Indonesians ...we have seen Schapelle Corby and the famous 9 on a regular basis. If nothing else we have been allowed to see for ourselves how these people look and we have heard them speak. The Indonesians have actually been good to let that occur. Has anyone noticed? They didn't have to do that. Do we let other countries see their prisoners we have here? Have we seen our Tony Tran in Vietnam who just got 20 years for posting 200g heroin to Australia? David Hicks has been there 24/7/365 x4 as far as I know and we know nothing other than that he has seen the prisoner abuse we have heard about.
