Hard work best way to oil the brain

Hard work best way to oil the brain : "As more baby boomers enter their 60s and others witness their elderly parents descend into senility, say experts, they're chasing after cognitive fitness with the same vigour they've had while pursuing wrinkle-free skin and erectile function."

Move it or lose it. Use it or lose it. Why not? Why not pursue all the ways and means of getting benefit from yourself and your life no matter how old you are? Why not pick up on the drive of this generation to conquer ageing frontiers and age old problems. Why not use technology to move us forward and keep us mentally fit? Why shouldn't we pioneer the ways and means to keep older people happy and active instead of consecrating them to homes where their knowledge, expertise and a lifetime of learning means we cannot access their skills and lessons. It's a terrible waste and a lot of it is attitude. I saw a 92 year old woman at the weekend and I thought she was 70 something. She was bright, happy , articulate and had such a good view on life and living...maybe that's why she was so young.
