Boy, 13, was $600k net conman

Boy, 13, was $600k net conman : "A police source said: 'It was like he was addicted to conning people. And whenever he was confronted with what he did, he showed absolutely no remorse.'"

This boy, at 13 made a lot of money and conned a lot of people. His mother died of cancer and he was living with his grandmother. He is 16 now and has not shown any signs of learning better behaviour although his latest effort was a genuine online lingerie store. I can't help but think this young boy has a lot going for him and he has been lost in cyberspace because of the circumstances of his life. Are there any male influences for him? Where is his father? The boy can obviously think in a complex way because he used some of his inheritance money to buy books to learn about successful con artists. Why was he motivated to do that? How long did his mother have cancer before she died and what sort of cancer was it? Cleary his young mind thinks the world owes him a lot. He would have seen people caring for his mother and putting in a great deal of time, treatment and effort and for what? On a daily basis his mother would have got sicker and sicker, frailer and frailer inspite of all this care and attention. A young mind has a really hard time coming to grips with that. I know . My daughter was 12 when my mother died of cancer. After, from the bottom of her heart break and with all the powerful emotions encapsulated in a rivetting look, she wanted to know why I had let her Grandma die. She had seen me at the hospital every day. She had seen me care for my mother on a daily basis at home. She had seen all the people involved in the huge amounts of treatments. Her young mind couldn't accept the family , doctors and treatments could be doing so much and yet make her lose her Grandma. This was the boy's mother. What sort of relationship did he have with her? He must have felt deeply conned himself by life and like he has nothing of value in it. He must have felt ripped off and they say he became a snob. He wanted everything because he had lost everything. He has modelled himself on a high roller, not a rich person of substance. A big, media influenced game. He needs all the help he can get and when he breaks, he is going to be very broken.
