Underwater weeding trial

Underwater weeding trial: "AN UNDERWATER lawnmower could help feed Australia's hungry cattle population, inventors believe."

Clearing clogged channels to improve water flow and then to use the harvested vegetation to feed cattle would be a brilliant help to our drought stricken farmers. We need water to flow. We need to ensure that the water stays moving. We currently do not have enough rain to ensure that. We have been through the heart break before of watching our animals die before because of lack of water and hence lack of feed. This country can be so harsh. If we could unblock our channels and use the weed to feed the cattle it would help the other initiative of using by products of the wine industry for cattle feed. This time at least we are applying ourselves to inventive solutions. Necessity is the mother of invention. For as long as we keep coming up with these fantastic ideas, we'll cope because it is so very hard on our farmers and that will make it hard on us. Primary industy is vital to the prosperity of a country.
