Labor's McKew stands firm

Labor's McKew stands firm despite death threat. : "'He reported to me that he'd observed a car parked in the laneway that's close to where I live and another couple of gentlemen who were shining torches under my car and inside my car,' she said."
So how often do our politicians get death threats? Is this the latest trend because it would appear that politicians are not able just to be who they are and that change is not allowed to occur and that people who want to get somewhere are always threatened. It means we have no natural justice, no natural choice and that people who might serve us well are really put into dire circumstances. Bullying of the highest order. Fear fest tactics. Maxine McKew is well liked and well respected. She deserves a fair chance. This death threat stuff is hideous because it does not allow her to fairly contest Prime Minister John Howard's seat of Bennelong. All highly irregular and really very odd. I hate our current political situation. We have really sunk into the slime.
