SA Govt rejects nuclear power plant

SA Govt rejects nuclear power plant proposal. : "South Australian Premier Mike Rann is rejecting a proposal for a nuclear power plant to be built in his state."

Thank you. We have got ahead of the other states in pioneering and committing to renewable energy and I think that is a great direction for us to keep. It keeps pollution and carbon emissions down and we are a decent size to trouble shoot with renewable energy so that there is something practical to offer the rest of the country. Taking our focus off that would be inadvisable given the state of global warming. What's the life of nuclear energy and at what cost??
