Eight dead in 'friendly fire' incident : "EIGHT Kurdish Peshmerga soldiers were killed and six others wounded in northern Iraq overnight after US choppers opened fire on them in what appeared to be a 'friendly fire' incident, Kurdish officials said."

It is not friendly fire. It's death. It's another mistake. Iraq is a constant , implacable, bloody mess. Death. Destruction. Just a gaping wound and 6 helicopters down in the last 3 weeks, so the US are losing a lot of their own and such expensive equipment. How would that be if that money were spent in the US and the people were alive? Iraq ia a bigger than ever black hole which sucks up life and squillions of dollars. No magic wands, no fairy dust so it is becoming worse and that is noticeable and the Iraqis must be so frustrated and the Americans must be so frustrated. Why would you want to keep it going? Why would you want Iraq to stay the bloody mess it is? We have turned it into a hellhole for everyone there and they are living in constant , awful misery and we do nothing. Change nothing. Talk about nothing. Just let it get worse and worse. 111,000 pounds of bombs on targets in 2006...plus all the other chemicals and ironmongery. And we think there will be no mistakes? When are we actually going to do something about this...or don't we want to?
