Australians help rescue Canadian child.

Australians help rescue Canadian child. : "Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokeswoman Julie Gagnon says the child used the Google search engine to send a message to Kids Helpline in Australia, pleading for help, and the email was forwarded to local police."

This story has made me shiver. The thought that a child had to go online and ,thanks to that ,our site came out on Google so we could manage it from here and help a young person in Canada. It seems very sad that a computer had to help but it is fantastic as well that technology can be so profoundly special at times. This is not the first time technology has saved someone from abject misery. It is great we can all help each other and it's fantastic we do have an online community which can act and react when there is a crisis. Thanks to everyone on both sides of the world...and Google for throwing up our Kids Helpline, some little child is now in safe hands. Something else to be proud of.
