Stop treating us like sheep

AdelaideNow... Stop treating us like sheep:

"TransAdelaide general manager Bill Watson said one 'sweeper' tram service starting at Morphett Rd was catering to passengers left behind in the morning. If overcrowding became a problem on afternoon peak services, it would be addressed, he said."

Adelaide is a difficult city to service in terms of public transport since we often use it in waves. It becomes the trend, then it moves on or there is an unusual lack of clients or an unusual excess. It's hard when you are the one standing all the way to town on public transport. It's worse if you are standing on the way home. It's not something we like. We are generally very accommodating and when we complain it's usually time to act because we always try to go with the flow and then allow for odd occasions. Complaining is how we deal with things. TransAdelaide is generally quick to respond on regular routes. Our difficulty is getting some services increased to other areas when the number of commuters can vary enormously. It's because we can be put off by long waits and under servicing that we get the highs and lows of public transport here. Maybe there needs to be an online feedback site. Maybe there already is. I think it's best to get current information with us. TransAdelaide does pretty well in interpreting us and does try to work with us in a reasonable way.
