Govt to cut red tape for developments

Govt to cut red tape for developments :

"Under the sweeping changes to the environment act, public nominations of areas for protection face a shakier future, with stronger powers being handed to the government."

This government is so out of touch with our nation and is so antagonistic. There is no such thing as consultation but the worst thing is they make a travesty of the things we hold dear. Protecting our environment is a key issue in Australia. Caring about our land is important to us. The red tape is a figment of the imagination of a government which doesn't give a tuppenny cuss about us and what we think is important. Like the industrial relations forums and avenues we had in place . This government thinks it is always right and that its approach is sensible and the rest of us are somehow too stupid to understand. I am truly astounded by this bill and the arguments against it were well spoken and well thought out. I hope the protests are loud and clear. They may have the control of the senate but it does not give them the right to patronise us and make what we see as valuable so worthless. Bob Brown is right ...its' a horror bill.

A horror bill created by horror heads.
