Pollution 'worse for whales' than hunting. :

True, we need to take global warming and pollution issues seriously. We have been saying that. We have all been raving on about how we are killing the planet . So to compare global warming deaths to targetted deaths doesn't really make sense. There is no moral high ground in preventing targetted deaths...of anything or anyone. Making comparisons about deliberate killing being less of a problem than environmental killing in no way excuses killing. More Americans have been killed in Iraq than at the WTC. Does that make one of the sets of arguments the moral high ground? Does it make one set of deaths less important? Whale issues are important and whale deaths...all whale deaths are important and need to be prevented.
