More than anything this has been the talk of the town today and people were enormously proud and tickled pink. Everyone is right behind the Socceroos as they go into this historic occasion. There was so much animation and pride it was heartening to see we could be as enthusiastic about soccer as we normally are about the football. This time the football took second place and people wanted to rave about last night's match against the Netherlands.
