PM hoes into Beazley over AWA plan

The Advertiser: PM hoes into Beazley over AWA plan :

"'AWAs have delivered higher wages, greater productivity and enhanced satisfaction for employees,' Mr Howard said."

If the PM has a need to get stuck into Mr. Beasley, it's a sure sign Mr. Beasley has hit the proverbial nail on its wonderful head. Normally the government doesn't even bother with Mr. Beasley and just lets the media hounds chase him. If the work place agreements were so fantastic, don't you think people would be saying that? When something is good , people acknowledge it. There has been distress, uspets, unhappiness and complaints. That's how great these new owrk place agreements are. If they we so good for us, don't you think we'd've picked them up before now? And who is getting the better wages? At what level of employment and what status in the hierarchy? As for the unions...they were part of our workplace happiness. They were one of the negotiating parties we had in place before all of our carefully considered workplace forums were put in place. We have lost so many jobs offshore. We have lost a number of significant Australian companies. We have lost some of our most talented poepl overseas and they don't want to come back. So, yes, it's all just fine and dandy. Don't even think of telling Mr. Beasley he is wrong at this point in time.
