Waste water could light homes, researchers say.

Waste water could light homes, researchers say.:

"The Ghent University researchers have designed a way to boost the output of microbial fuel cells, an emerging technology that captures the energy produced when bacteria break down waste and turn it into electrical current."

I've said it before and I shall say it again - you can't say that scientists aren't thinking outside the square. They are showing some very inpsired, creative, novel approaches to our daily problems and if recycling the toilet water can light our homes...well, we all know where the sun shines sometimes!!
