High sugar prices push up CSR profits. :

"The manufacturing and production company CSR says increased sugar prices have pushed up profits.

CSR has revealed its net profit for the 12 months to the end of March was up nearly 17 per cent to $305 million.

Its financial report shows sugar trading revenue rose more than 42 per cent because of good sugar prices and growing conditions."

Of course increased prices will create a bigger profit!! That is what it is about. Bigger profits, people working harder to create greater productivity and the ownwers and shareholders reap the benefits. The consumer and the worker are just all part of the profit before people paradigm.
