Losing doctors to overseas

Surveys predict doctor exodus. :

"'We're hopeful that coupled with some indicators in the election period, that the Government is recognising some of the issues - attraction and retention and what have you - and we can actually start to do something about giving trainee doctors a better training experience, a less arduous experience and one that makes them see the South
Australian system as an attractive place to stay,' he said."

So what does overseas offer that we don't? The mix of peole would be great. The competition would be greater. If we are that good, then there should be an influx of overseas people here to get trained. Have we got the mix right in the courses because some people think that non middle calss people are not worthy of treatment. There would be more of those overseas who are deemed worthy of consideration. Do they think the conditions will be better because our hospitals were allowed to run doen for a long time. Are they fed up with the constant form filling and accountability and the litigation lunacy. Woudl that be better overseas? Nearly half witin 5 years is a pretty hight number. What do they think is better overseas?
