The week has been so different that it's hard to believe Wal was only voted out on Monday. Wal, the biggest loser. Voted off because he was good at losing weight and winning challenges. It was so incredible to see him now because he just looks so much younger and is so well. When I saw his original size and pictures it was nice and obvious how ill he was and probably headed for a heart attack. Now he is a whole new man and his wife is a whole new woman with him. The rest of the week with the others was odd. Fiona has actually worked her butt off and deserved to win the wall challenge but Kristie was amazing how she remembered all the clues and got through the maze, then how fit she was all week and then, how stupid she was for loading and gaining 5.9Kg. She thinks she knows what she is doing. Fiona did it, but not that much, and it worked for her. Wal did it and it didn't work for him. It really is contrary to the spirit of the show...and who Kristie is. We'll see. Adro didn't lose much which was a surprise because he looks so different and is so well but at least he won't be evicted. Ruth so needed that day of isolation. She obviously needs more time to herself than the living conditions permit because she is quite different when she gets some space. It's been good to see her turn another corner and become even more capable of using her body. That brick challenge was astounding but how I felt for those guys shifting a ton of bricks each in our hot sun. Talk about endurance and Kristie did it. She is quite the dynamo. AJ and the trainers are still fantastic and the trainers have really turned up the heat but they are incredible how they relate on so many different levels with the guys in the programme. That has been really worth seeing how these trainers interact with the biggest losers and how AJ remains so impartial. She is friendly but never judgemental and always truthful. I don't know how she does it sometimes and she is looking better and better as the show goes on. So, what now? My money is on Ruth being voted off. Fiona is so different since the other two left and has had a chance to blossom and grow and not behave in that limiting fashion. We'll see. Weight wise she has less chance of losing weight than Ruth now that Ruth is moving.
