Qantas maintenance

7news business:

"A Roy Morgan poll of 656 Australians found an overwhelming 87 per cent wanted the facilities to stay onshore, with 69 per cent saying the federal government should intervene to prevent the move."

Yes, we do want our aircraft serviced at home. We do want to hear our company is not servicing its own craft. I have already had friends saying they have had enough of the airline nonsense which has come in one form or another and they are taking holidays which do not include flying. They are happy to do so until things change. People are starting to tire of airline bungles, crashes, inconvenience, problems, hijinx, hijacks, incompetence. If the plan was to make us decide to stop flying, it has worked because people cannot be bothered. One woman has stopped because she was sick of the cavity searches when she is just a normal woman going about her business. She has completely changed her lifestyle because she is tired of paying the price for being a normal person who wants to fly. We want our workers onshore and our aircraft serviced here and there is nothing wrong with that.
