C'est levee after storm that killed 1300

C'est levee after storm that killed 1300 :

"NEW Orleans' Mardi Gras season came to life yesterday as thousands of revellers lined the streets for a parade that eased the pain of hurricane Katrina."

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Let the good times roll. Heaven only know these people need some joy in their lives and what is clear to me is they are people of enormous spirit...which is good because my image of New Orleans as being that tough, but enormously imaginative environment, is not blemished. I look forward to hearing they have repaired the damage and new life has come to the stricken area. They have certainly the capacity to grasp adversity in both their hands , turn it right around and sit it on its backside.
