The Australian: Global warming hits health :
"'We call on those who have the power to take measures and to reduce the potential impact of climate change on our health,' said Maria Neira, the WHO director of protection of the human environment."
Risning rates in salmonella poisoning; fatal heat strokes and hay fever are blamed on climate change in this article. One thing we have all noticed here is how much more severe hay fever is this year and how we are all taking to medication when normally we manage with very little. We have also ben susceptible to colds because of the see sawing temperatures. Yes, we do need to work on this together. It is a global issue which requires a global response.
