GPS foils car theft

Australian IT - GPS foils car theft :

"The car's owner car contacted the manufacturer, which activated the vehicle's global positioning system (GPS), the spokesman said."

We really are starting to move intot he technological age and it's good people can protect their property like that. Better to have people who respect the property of others....but, in the mean time....the worm has turned!! We get what we are prepared to accept nad GPS means we are less vulnerable to car theft. Better still, the police don't have to spent all their time and energy trying to chase thieves down. I can see us all having implants when we are born so we can be found!!
