"The Queensland Institute of Medical Research has found a protein that may stop cells multiplying irregularly."
QIMR is constantly coming up with the goods and is very successful at making breakthroughs in research. This one is another great breakthrough because if every country makes a breskthrough in cancer research, we shall have a world where this disease will no longer destroy people in the most hideous fashion. The understanding of how this protein works and how to balance it in everyone is a way off, but like the cancer vaccine, we heard about the break through and now it is a reality. This particulary finding will have far reaching implications in terms of preventing cancer from spreading. Fantastic news.
