Adelaide opens long-awaited airport.:
"Adelaide's new $260 million airport terminal has been officially opened."
About time!!! We used to be able to fly overseas from here and then they sut the international airport, such as it was...and we have been waiting FOREVER. We are one of the few places where you do the Casablanca thing and climb the metal stairs onto and off the plane. You know you're home when you are either burnt to a crisp or blown to bits trying to come across the tarmac to the terminal. I can't wait to try this new one out . I am more curious to see whether I still have to go out through Sydney and come back through Sydney for the places I want to go to. It adds so much extra time onto a flight. May this new terminal stay and may we see you by the Torrens or feasting in Glenelg...or running around the Flinders!! And don't forget to come quaffing in McLaren Vale!
