"Former Australia captain Steve Waugh says selectors should take a deep breath before making changes to the Test team, although Waugh admits the ageing nature of the side means it is 'at the cross-roads a little bit'."

I love it when great people agree with me!! I think it would be silly to chop and change when in effect the team showed some massive strength and an amazing resilience and a real capacity to think and use its skills. This was what the Australians got out of it and they had to play as a total team and not a collection of fantastic independents. Steve Waught was crucial in getting that team to meld and Ricky Ponting has understood that too and he really supports his individual memebers but urges team co operation. Let the dust settle. It was a DRAW. It was a tactical and skill battle and it was great. Sit together and use the collective expertise to create a dynamic team which can go ahead into the future.
