The magnificent men in their flying machines

Qantas plane makes emergency landing.:

"The customer services manager said it was his first experience of the kind in 20 years."

What is it with flying machines lately? No matter where or what kind of flying machine, we have had some terrible accidents: some people of great experience meeting unexpected and unbelievable demise, and then there are the odd ball behaviours as with this plane and then the miraculous landings as with the Air France plane in Toronto and our one in Port Augusta. The flying machines have gone mental but the pilots are becoming legendary. How great for people to applaud at the end of that safe Qantas landing. Credit where credit is due.
