German funeral for Australian airmen
German funeral for Aussie airmen: "The four Australian fliers were among a crew of seven who died when their Lancaster bomber based in Waddington, Lincolnshire, was shot down near the German town of Geissen on December 7, 1944."
Got this from the Scotsman and the article quotes or Defence Minister Robert Hill. I haven't actually seen this reported in our news, which has been very hectic lately. The funeral will be held next month in Germany and will no doubt mean a lot for the families of the men concerned.
