Why London?

One minute the winners of a huge accolade, the next minute swamped by horror. What must the Londoners be thinking? I know they are made of strong stuff and that they can rally, but they will be rallying without friends and relatives and yet another set of explosions has turned yet another place in the world into a set of victims. An unverified claim has been posted on the Al Qaida Fortress site from The Secret Organisation Group of Al-Qa'ida of Jihad Organisation in Europe claiming it was their doing. Muslims in England have decried these people but are having to stay indoors for fear of reprisals. So if these extremists have carried out a "blessed raid" on London, what have they achieved for their cause? They have made me think that normal, ordinary people are the ones paying the price for the decisions of the leaders.Have they forgotten we were the ones out on the street trying to stop the bombs? Why target the ordinary London citizens? How have they oppressed you? Why target the ordinary Madrid citizens? The ones in New York? How does that achieve anything to target those least involved with oppression? How will that rally anyone to a cause when the mighty are standing and the unsuspecting have fallen? How will it help if people of your own religion are being confronted with persecution because you have done something which is making ordinary people suffer and die? Why London? How does that help? Why shouldn't the Londoners be able to soak up the glory of their Olympic win? I really hope the British will get enough evidence to find the perpetrators of this horrible mess. It is so cruel.
