UK in talks to hand Iraq role to Australia Online:
"BRITAIN is negotiating with Australia to hand over military command of southern Iraq to free up British troops for redeployment to the front line in Afghanistan."
This is Australia and no one has been negotiating with me. I read here we might take over from the British troops in Iraq AND we might commit troops to Afghanistan as well. So, everything is looking really bright and rosy for us. Just the very thing for us!
