TV shutdown

Scotsman.com News - Latest News - Indonesia orders TV shutdown:

"Indonesia has ordered TV stations to go off the air for four hours each night to conserve energy, but the soccer-mad nation need not worry about missing European matches -- they have been exempted from the shutdown."

I love it . TV rationing to save energy. Great idea and would force people to find alternative activities. What if there were internet rationing? Some countries ration the use of cars. I am all for it in big cities and even small cities like Adelaide would benefit from banning cars out from the city. The smell of petrol is appalling. Worried about your nation being too overweight? Worried about the skyrocketing price of petrol? Introduce community activities and ban individual ones. This could mean the start of a whole new series of activities! I love it.

See? It would be a good idea:
