Bilbies

Bilbies respond to predator training. :

"Workers at the Roxby Downs Arid Recovery Reserve in South Australia's north say they are having success in training bilbies to avoid predators such as cats."

I have blogged about our bilbies before and our attempts to keep the species going. I cannot believe the trouble our wild life people go to to try and keep our native species going and in a state whereby they can fend for themselves if we have had breeding programmes to keep the numbers up. These are very dedicated people and future generations can thank them for their care and effort.
