Big Night

I rarely rave about films. To me this is 10 out of 10 and a real gem. It is down to earth, moving, funny, sad, uplifting. The stuff of normal life told in an inspired way. A classic case of less is more and it works brilliantly, the moreso because there is an expert, seamless mix of English and Italian. If you life food, people... if you know what it's like to move from one culture to another with your hopes and dreams, I highly recommend it. It becomes more powerful as it unfolds.
