Our principality in Western Australia , The Hutt River Province, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year in April. Quite an achievement really. If you go to the home page you are reminded of this truly remarkable story which is about land, governance, finance, physics and the treatment of expat Brits. It is also a story about Western Australia. We forget sometimes that we have a very unique and powerful history. It is often bulldozed or ignored and relegated to the shadows since property development, business, finance and entertainment are all far more important. Would do us good to visit some of our remarkable people in Australia and Prince Ian is one of them. He turned adversity into something very unique and what a characteristic that is of a good Australian.
