Climbing Uluru

"Around a third of tourists who visit Uluru in Central Australia still climb the rock despite being encouraged by traditional owners not to do so."
Creating something out of nothing and aiming it at Peter Garrett is the usual daft we have come to expect. The traditional owners do not want to have people climbing Uluru. They will have their reasons and they should be respected. Aboriginal people know how this land works and we rarely listen to them. It is a place where people die trying to climb it and I know that doesn't necessarily put people off...but the traditional owners probably know more about our big rock than we do.
