Brain Drain

"The newspaper said Google officials were reluctant to share details of the formula, which is still being tested, but it had already identified employees "who felt underused, a key complaint among those who contemplate leaving".
It also says in this article that the Google people who leave feel like that they cannot make the same impact as the company matures.. Algorithm or not, they have probably identified to real problems with work these days. people cannot make an impact in any kind of a creative way because they are flat to the floor boards and they are constantly having to fill out documentation and accountability forms. It is mind numbing. If you are in a job because you love what the job is and find you are no more than a clerk or clerical assistant, then yes, you feel thwarted and troubled. People like to contribute and they like to mix and mingle. Data and forms drive us these days because it is convenient. We are run by software, software forms and software limitations. People are far more ingenious , flexible and creative.  Being slaves to data input and form filling is probably killing a lot of us.The balance is up the creek.

21/5 Thank you to whoever messed with the spelling. That hasn't happened in a while. Best way to nobble someone is to stuff the spelling up so they look like an idiot. This was fine when I posted it. I have just recorrected it ...as I had to a while ago when things were coming up incorrectly spelt when I came back to my blog. Oddly enough, it never happens when I do not blog.
