Adelaide is a 20 minute city. It takes you 20 minutes by car to get most places and then maybe an hour for a really big trip. No one much minds driving in Adealide because it is straight forward and hassle free. Just lately , though, it has been a total pain. There have been far too many accidents, there have been excess cars because train lines have been suffering from excess heat exhuation, there have been the extra Clipsal visitors and then everywhere in Adelaide there have been road works. Our days are now marred by slow, intolerable traffic jams, rerouting and surprise slow downs. you cannot travel anywhwere without being caught up or slowed down. We are so over it.
