The way the world can feed itself

The way the world can feed itself : "“Large swathes of Africa could be used far more productively if properly managed by large companies. To contain the rise in food prices we need more globalisation, not less.”"

This article points out a different way of dealing with
the food shortages. It suggests looking into the global market and fixing it on a global level. It looks also at our unchecked population growth . This is something we haven't factored into the food costs and prices. We have a lot more people and we are going to have a lot more people but they will not be eating if we don't solve this problem. I still say local because you are in control of it. Global companies which collapse, go bust or go into implementation dips...like supplying Hong Kong with Vegemite, will be risky in my opinion. We need to talk and we need to think...and we need to keep coming up with the ideas.
