Queensland water inspectors may raid homes : "WATER inspectors could be given the power to legally enter Brisbane properties which have recorded high water usage - and then name and shame the offending householders."
Well, I was on Beach Road this morning and there was a water leak. The guy in the shop had reported it yesterday. The lady in another shop said she couldn't believe it had just been left because it started as a small leak, apparently, and was now running...straight down the road drain. We were dismayed that all our vigilance and water saving was being treated with impunity. If you care about saving water, you care about it and it applies to EVERYONE.
