PM out of touch

PM out of touch over rising household costs: "“They find it hard to reconcile the talk of economic prosperity with their own household circumstances.'"

There was a big article in The Messenger Press today about how so many charitable organisations are just having to turn people away. The cold winter, the rising fuel costs, the lack of affordable homes are putting people on the street. Some people are taking their children to the charities rather than sending them to school because the children have nothing to eat and nothing for their lunch box and that would be so humiliating. We apparently have more people living on the street. This is Adelaide. We have enough money in Australia so that everyone can eat and have a roof over their head, but as the rich enjoy their extra riches, then it comes at a cost because there is only so much money in this country.
