Boys want more male teachers

Boys want more male teachers : "The survey found that 51 per cent of boys said having a male teacher made them behave better and 42 per cent said it made them work harder."

I think both sexes should be represented in kindergartens, day cares, schools and homes. It's important for children to have access to adults in all their shapes, sizes and forms. Some of the most unlikely looking people become the most astounding teachers and leave lessons you never forget. Kids are bombarded with media images so it's important their real like role models and influences are real and represent the human race! It's not surprising boys would like men teachers...but it's important children learn to relate to both sexes. Seems odd they think they behave better for men. Some of my strictest teachers who got the best performances were women.
