Tougher Adelaide water use bans

Tougher Adelaide water use bans might go into August : "From July 1, household sprinklers, hoses and irrigation systems will be banned but watering from buckets and watering cans will still be allowed."

No one is watering. It's too damn cold and wet. Wet. The plants don't need water and pot plants just need a drip or two of the rainwater from tanks. We shouldn't be using Murray water to water our gardens. We've had frost. I did hear in our conversations that some people have neighbours who haven't turned their automatic sprinklers off so they water whether it's raining or not. That's a bit lax and needs to be reeled in, quite how I am not sure...presumably they are set to the watering times we had through summer. We've been too busy huddling around the fire but saving water is on our minds and most of us are very conscious of doing the right thing and the Murray is uppermost in our thoughts. Just give us direction!
