Distress and anxiety are bad for the brain

Distress and anxiety are bad for the brain : "During up to 12 years of follow-up, 482 people (38 per cent) developed 'mild cognitive impairment'' - the stage in between normal ageing and dementia."

Now those who are distressed and anxious have something else to be distressed and anxious about! I know it's good to be informed but I think we are seriously going to have to consider the delivery of information. We have become more distressed and worried ...and it has to relate to the amount of information wish surrounds us constantly. That's what has changed in our daily living. Sometimes ignorance is bliss!
